Welcome to Thursday and the opening of the vote to decide the winner of the Six Word Story Challenge.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that I didn’t bring the Six Word Story Challenge to a close last week. I have no excuse other than I’ve been enjoying the summer with my family. It’s not often we get a run of pleasantness in the UK and we’ve been taking advantage of it. This has left little time for blogging or anything mundane like housework (seriously, you would be horrified!)
That being said, I am putting it right now by ending the last challenge with the now customary vote. Please read through the below entries and vote for your favourite.
THE PROMPT I LEFT YOU WITH LAST TIME WAS OBLIGE. Which of the below stories should win the grand prize?*
(You are now restricted to just one vote, use it wisely!)
The vote will remain open until 9pm Friday evening (GMT) at which point I close the poll and announce the winner.
These weeks fly past don’t they? It only seems like yesterday that I set you the prompt of TERROR to set your storytelling cogs turning! If you haven’t already read through the entries, pop over to the linked page and look through them, I challenge you not rub at your crawling skin! Continue reading →
