Good Evening Storytellers,

You’ll be forgiven for forgetting you entered the Six Word Story Challenge, it was over a month ago – I’ve just been too busy to bring it to a conclusion! Nevertheless, I closed it off eventually and now it’s Friday and time to reveal your winners.

Back in March I left you the prompt of BURNING. In return, you left me stories of lust, desire and revenge, peppered with tales of actual pyromania!

If you haven’t had chance to read through the entires, pop over to the challenge page and read through them. It’s too late to vote but you might find a new favourite.

As usual, you’ve been voting for your winner for 24hrs and the winners of this week’s Six Word Story challenge are:

Six word story, 6 word story, writing challenge, writing prompt

First place goes to Endless Edits with her story – Circumstances hardly supported an eternal flame.’

Six Word Story Challenge, 6 word story, writing prompt

Second place goes to trE with her story – ‘Burned down home–he’s still inside.’

Six Word Story Challenge, 6 word story, writing prompt

Third place goes to MissteriosoDas with their story – ‘She Burned To Light Up Others.’

The winners get to download and use one of these highly prized badges for their blog.

As always, thank you for taking part. There will be a new prompt published for you on Saturday morning at 9am GMT!

Until tomorrow Storytellers.

Nicola x
