Good Evening Storytellers,
Did everyone survive the first week back at work? Or did you walk around not knowing who you were, why you were there or what you were supposed to be doing? Whichever version of yourself you were this week, I hope the Six Word Story Challenge brought you some light relief!
This week, I left you the prompt of CERTAINTY. What were your characters certain of in their lives? Did it turn out not to be so? Were they betrayed? Challenged? Let down? Maybe your stories were about faith and devout, unwavering beliefs?
If you haven’t had chance to read through the entires, pop over to the challenge page and peruse the entries submitted. Some writers submitted more than one story this week but because I can’t accept them all for the challenge doesn’t mean you should miss them!
As usual, you’ve been voting for your winner for 24hrs and the winners of this week’s Six Word Story challenge are:
First place goes to ithappenedwhilewriting with her story – “Dystopia has begun, we can’t hide.”
Second place goes to emhyde with her story – ‘Hands trembling, she cut the wire.’
Third place goes to Abby with her story – ‘Amidst death and taxes, life triumphs.’
The winners get to download and use one of these highly prized badges for their blog.
As always, thank you for taking part. There will be a new prompt published for you on Saturday morning at 9am GMT!
Until tomorrow Storytellers.
