Welcome to the (very late) opening of the vote to decide the winner of the Six Word Story Challenge.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that I failed to start the vote for the winner of the Six Word Story Challenge on Thursday. I’m afraid the Christmas party season stole my free time this week!

I am going to open the vote now and will announce the winner on Christmas Eve at 12pm (GMT). This will run concurrently with the new week’s challenge.

The poll is open below for you to choose the story you feel has encapsulated the prompt in an inference filled delight, urging your imagination to fill in the blanks.

So, what do you think? Which of the below stories should win the grand prize?*

(You are restricted to just one vote, use it wisely!)

The vote will remain open until  9pm Friday evening (GMT) at which point I close the poll and announce the winner.
