Welcome to Thursday and the opening of the vote to decide the winner of the Six Word Story Challenge.
It’s Thursday and that means it’s the end of this special edition of our regular Six Word Story Challenge. This week I reversed our usual concept of writing a story based on a prompt and asked you to summarise an existing film plot into just six words. If you did it well, your fellow storytellers would have no trouble in guessing your condensed offering.
This week, I’d like you to vote for the story you feel best summarised the plot of the movie (rather than the film you like best). All entries are listed below in the poll but if you’d like to pop over to the challenge page you can read all the right and wrong guesses in the comments. Come and join in the conversation, add your guesses to the few films that have yet to be identified!
So, what do you think? Who did the best job? Which of the below stories should win the grand prize?*
(You are restricted to just one vote, use it wisely!)
The vote will remain open until 9pm Friday evening (GMT) at which point I close the poll and announce the winner.
