Happy Friday Storytellers!
Welcome to Friday again, I’m so happy to see you here after another traumatic week in the UK. Perspective is a very personal thing and I’ve certainly experienced it in spades this month. My heart goes out to the communities caught up in the terrifying Grenfell Tower tragedy this week, I can barely bring myself to think about the suffering of the people trapped in that building and again I hug my children tighter at night as I think about those who have lost members of their own families. I truly grieve for them. Suddenly, turning 40 this week seems like a blessing rather than something to angst over (I’ll give you an address to send my birthday presents to later!).
On that cheery note, let’s remind ourselves of this week’s challenge. I left you the prompt of Parley and we dutifully voted for our favourites over the last 24hrs. As a result, this week’s winners are:
First place goes to Ginger Tea Fanatic with the story – ‘Conscience and Instinct together chose Survival’
Second place goes to Isabel Caves with her story – ‘I played the tapes. He surrendered’
Third place goes to N with her story – ‘She lost the argument. He surrendered’
The winners get to download and use one of these highly prized badges for their blog.
Until tomorrow Storytellers.
