Happy Friday Storytellers,
It’s been a busy week at Storyteller HQ, I’ve welcomed the return of my writing mojo and have been squirrelling away in the evenings and during lunch hours to expel the content of my head to paper, well, to screen.
Coupled with this is my sister’s sudden interest in digital marketing, apparently she does this for a job (who knew?) and wants to test her skills and theories on my little blog. As a result, I now have a blogging schedule to stick to and a rigorous set of engagement instructions to harass you all with on Twitter and the like. Sorry in advance!
On that note, thank you to everyone who reblogged last week’s challenge and socialised it on Twitter, Facebook and all those other platforms you crazy kids use. I love to see new people coming over and starting their six word story journey with us. This week, I am going to start using the hashtags #SixWordStoryChallenge and #SixWordStory on twitter and the tag Six Word Story Challenge on WordPress, so keep an eye out for them! (please reuse them too, my sister is less likely to hurt me then).
So, back to the plot.
This week I left you the prompt of Liberated. I loved to read about what liberation meant to you. For some, it was recounting a famous moment in history, for others it was social commentary on newly found freedom and acceptance, or literally being liberated from an oppressive situation. All of them sparkled in their own way.
And so to this week’s winners;
Em with her story ‘Signing divorce papers with a smile.’
patricksponaugle with his story ‘I ignored my chains, was freed.’
Haylee with her story ‘Unsupervised, the frantic digging resumed. Sunlight…’
Until next time,
