Good evening Storytellers,
It’s Friday, and it’s the end of this week’s Six Week Story Challenge.
I left you the prompt of worship this week and was interested to see if you would take a literal or metaphorically religious slant on this one, in fact, there were examples of both. Pop over to the challenge page if you haven’t already had a chance. It’s too late to cast a vote but feel free to continue liking and commenting.
I was inspired by this week’s stories and am always interested to see who your winner will ultimately be. Your chosen authors are placed below but I thought I would give special mention to a story I thought was extremely thought provoking this week. luckyjc007 entered the story ‘Child’s room, turned into a shrine’. This one really stopped me in my tracks. The raw emotion it held in those six words was both powerful and gut wrenching.
And so to the winners:
This week, first place goes to:
patricksponaugle with his story
‘Her pedestal was tall.
(Sorry Pat, I’ve still never watched a single episode of Game of Thrones!)
Second place goes to:
swritings with their story ‘Awed by creation, I bowed down.’
Third place goes to:
trE with her story ‘In the temple, I find strength.’
Congratulations to all of this week’s winners. As usual, please feel free to download and use one of the below badges on you blog.
Until next time,
