And the winner of this week’s HEAVENLY Six Word Story Challenge is…

six word story challenge, micro fiction, 6 word story, prompt, writing, #amwriting

Welcome to Friday and the conclusion of this week’s heavenly Six Word Story Challenge.

I thought this week’s prompt of Heaven would be a popular one and I was excited to see what stories it would elicit. Some were tales of attaining the lifelong goal of walking through the Pearly Gates, or the inability to get in at all. Others told of your personal heaven or of little miracles. My personal favourite this week (from Sheryl) reflected on the disappointment of paradise once she got there! If you haven’t read through all the entries this week, pop on over to the challenge page.

I hope you enjoyed taking part this week, the winners this week were:

This week, first place goes to:

Peter’s Ponderings with his marvellous acrostic six word story:

Hell’s
Easily
Attainable.

Second place goes to:

Marigold Blooms with her story: ‘It’s done. No chance of redemption.’

Third place was tied between several entries so I have awarded the prize to:

Damaged Goods with her story: ‘She entered hell thinking heaven awaits’

Congratulations to all of this week’s winners. As usual, please feel free to download and use one of the below badges on you blog.

Until next time,

  1. Thanks for the votes folks, although really it wasn’t a story, more an advert! Some really good entries again. Well done all.
