Book Spine Poetry for National Poetry Day

book spine poetry,writing,poetry

Here’s a sneaky piece of bookspine poetry, composed in WHSmith’s under the watchful eye of the security guard!

Apologies for the wonky picture, I took it under duress!

I saw a man

Every three hours

The year I met you.

A brief affair,

Only to die again.

    • I found this copy in WHSmiths. If you’re not UK based, I’m sure Amazon will stock it. Sometimes publishers change a book’s title when it’s published internationally though so if you can’t find it this may be the reason. The author’s own website is usually a good place to check. I hope you manage to find it.

These are definitely fun. Would be great to go to a bookstore or library and just do tons of them. 🙂 My home library is mostly packed away at the moment so I am limited, though that does make it more challenging.
