It’s Friday which means it’s time to announce the winner of the Sometimes Stellar Storyteller Six Word Story Challenge.
This week the prompt was chosen by my ten year old son who wanted you all to believe in luck again. As always, the prompt was a nice open one for you to interpret in any way you saw fit – the luck didn’t have to be good or deserved. I don’t know about you, but I puzzled over this prompt for quite a while before I came up with a suitable story. I loved where you took your characters this week.
Without further jibber-jabber, on with the announcements.
This week, first place goes to:
JulesAprilKitty with her story ‘He missed his flight. It crashed.’
Particularly poignant considering the tragic events last week. Incidentally, I believe this may be a record for the highest number of votes received for an entry into the Six Word Story Challenge.
Second place goes to:
KatieComeBack for her story “This donor is a perfect match.”
Third place goes to:
Fantasy Raconteur with her story ‘He left Nagasaki on August 8’
Congratulations to all the winners, please download your Pride of WordPress badges from the below, I expect to see plenty of blog and social media bragging.
Until next time,
