Happy Friday friends,
It’s been a busy week here at SSS HQ. Not only was the Six Word Story Challenge running as usual, but also a concurrent extra special edition which you can read about here. I myself had a haphazard burst of creativity this week and have been bombarding you all with my first tentative attempts at poetry (sorry about that!).
This week, I left you the prompt of Superfluous to wrap your own creative juices around and I was interested to see how you would interpret this one. As usual, you didn’t disappoint me, we had stories of ‘too little, too late’, people feeling unneeded and as our winner demonstrates – that awkward situation where you find yourself the gooseberry!
I have just given it away, but this week the winner of the Six Word Story Challenge is Patricksponaugle with his masterclass of brevity – Two couples. And me.
Second place this week goes to angietrafford with her story – Darling, words have become completely unnecessary.
Third place goes to Joyce Poggi Hager with her story – Water, water everywhere. Nothing to drink.
All winners are entitled to download and use one of the below badges on their own blog in order to gloat unbearably.
Until next week,
