It’s Friday so it’s winners’ announcement day again. This week the prompt of Regret triggered a wave of stories admitting to your characters’ deepest, darkest or humorous moments of reflection. We saw stories regretting the absence of final goodbyes, characters wishing they had done things differently and those wishing they hadn’t chosen the greener looking grass. Each of them hinting at the entire plot behind the snippet you gave us.
This week’s winner is, Jamie L Dyson with his story ‘Told you that fish looked iffy.’
Second place goes to Srivi with her story ‘Couldn’t kiss you one last time…’
Third place goes to MaryRuth16 with her story ‘Said no; should have said yes.’
Congratulations to all of the winners, please feel free to download and use one of the below badges on your blog to brag loudly of your victory.
This week I need your votes on a special edition of the Six Word Story Challenge. Please visit this post and vote for your favourite story – all written by 16-18 year olds. They are all fabulous and I think you’ll have a tough time deciding! If you could either reblog the post or share it on social media I would be forever in your debt, I would love to show these budding authors what a helpful and supportive writing community there is online. We have already had some fabulous writers and successful authors leaving their feedback which will be hugely encouraging for them.
Until next week,
