And the winner is …

Welcome to Friday, welcome to the weekend and welcome to the Six Word Story Challenge.

This week, I left you the prompt of SIN to see just how naughty you all could be. By the looks of things you are a sinful bunch, some of you left more than one story because you couldn’t decide which sin to go with!

My eldest son, Connor, also entered this week with a very true story. You can visit his entry and learn of the shameful happenings in our house by popping back to the post. He entered under ‘Nicola’s son’.

So to business!

This week’s winner is Patricksponaugle with his story – ‘Six words for sin? There’s SEVEN!’

Second place was was a three way tie so in accordance with the rules (that I wrote!), I get to chose the story that takes this place. This week I am choosing thesarahdoughty whose story ‘Your taste was like nothing else.’ I thought this story best left me guessing what the rest of the story was about which is something I love about this type of micro fiction.

Third place was also tied so this week I have chosen leennascreativebox to take the glory with her story ‘Ice-cream at midnight. Chocolate at 9am.’ I had no idea this was a sin!

Congratulations to Patrick on his win and to Sarah and Leanna on their second and third places. Please feel free to download on of the below badges of honour.

Call back tomorrow when a new challenge will be posted for you to wrap your storytelling genius around.

Until next week,

Nicola x

  2. Thanks everyone! I don’t know if that entry should have been allowed to win, since it was a meta-commentary on the contest itself… BUT I’LL TAKE IT! I fully embrace Hubris!

(Again, thank you all, and congratulations to all the winners, and thank you for the participants for supporting Nicola’s contests.)
