Happy New Year to you! I hope you’re not suffering the brain pounding effects of celebration?
Here on the Sometimes Stellar Storyteller’s blog, Fridays are all about the end of the Six Word Story Challenge so I hope this little announcement goes some way to soothing any excesses you may be suffering from.
This week’s prompt was Resolution and I was keen to see how you would translate this into your own brand of six word genius. I also wondered how closely your stories reflected your own personal resolutions. Perhaps you would let me know in the comments?
Just so you know, my story had nothing to do with the only resolution I have made this year. I have no retribution planned (yet) so my resolution is to run a cumulative total of at least 1,000kms this year. If I was brave I would have made it 1,000 miles but I’m not!
Anyway, we had a clear winner in the six word story challenge this week and first place goes to:
James Dyson (temperate) with his story ‘Beware. This year I’ll be unstoppable.’ (I think I’m a little scared of this one!)
Third place goes to whatsandrathinks with her story ‘No resolution. No failure. No guilt.’
Well done to all the winners, as usual, they are each entitled to download one of the below badges for their own blog.
Please call in tomorrow when a new prompt will be posted. There will also be a brand new look in time for the winner’s announcement on Friday 8th January.
Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2016 is kind to you.
