And the winner is …

This week I left you a prompt that could have been used to create a festive story and I was pleasantly surprised to see that you came up with a mixed bag of topics.

It’s fantastic to see so many new participants in the challenge and that votes are being cast for your favourites, it means that this week we have clear victors.

I am pleased to announce that this week’s winner of the Stellar Story Challenge is:

Patricksponaugle who wins for the second time with his story ‘She said things. I didn’t question.”

Second place goes to Hayley with her story ‘Of course I clap for fairies!’ inspired by JM Barrie.

Third place goes to Whatsandrathinks with her story ‘Peeking downstairs — red pants, black boots!’

Congratulations to all three winners, you are now entitled to download and use one of the below badges on your own blog. Think of it as a badge of honour from me to you.

Be sure to check in tomorrow for a brand new story prompt. I expect some Christmassy entries this week as I will be announcing the winner on Christmas day and offering a special Christmas prize.

Until next week,

Nicola x

  2. Thank you everyone! I feel so loved. ♥ It’s funny — I was just thinking that I should post sooner next time! Haha. Of course, I’ll also have to come up with something good or that definitely won’t matter! 🙂

Thanks for awarding me second place people! I agree that getting in early can help a little if people don’t scroll down through all comments but Patrick’s selling himself short. It was a deserved win! Was fun that it was so close and we could campaign for votes with each other on Twitter. Well done everyone, looking forward to the Christmas edition!

  5. Thank you so much, and congratulations to all who participated. I don’t think I would have done as well had I not submitted my entry immediately.

    Best regards, everyone.
