Limerick Challenge – Pride

This week’s Limerick challenge from MindandLifeMatters gave us the prompt pride.

I love these fun challenges, they’re just compact enough for you to take part in when you have a few spare minutes.

Here’s my entry:

 

Deep down she knew he had lied,

Breathing deep, she mustered her pride.

Defiant she packed,

Determined, in fact.

But inside, slowly, she died
