Limerick Challenge – Spooky

This week’s prompt in the MindandLifeMatters Limerick challenge is Spooky. The rules state that a synonym of the prompt can be used so this week I have substituted the word Ominous.

This is my entry:

The cruel, frigid wind whips and blows

Amidst the ominous caw of the crows.

She stands dark and tall,

In her cobwebby shawl,

As gorged spiders fall from her nose.
