Limerick Challenge

I was thrilled to have been a runner up in last week’s limerick challenge hosted by MindandLifeMatters so decided to have another stab at it this week.

The prompt for his week’s is BLISS.

His presence, my heaven, his kiss,
A moment too dreamt of to miss.
But the heat and the passion,
Was only imagined.
Such a perfect, repeatable bliss.

Here’s one I wrote a few years ago. Not in the same league as yours of course but you may find it amusing (and hopefully not offensive):

I knew a saucy dame called Nicola
Who’d wriggle and squirm when I’d tickle her
I tried it with a knife
    But got into strife
And ended up having to pickle her
