A Limerick Challenge

The lovely MindandLifeMatters is hosting an all new limerick challenge. Now, I’m not a poet and I know it. I have always struggled to channel the required emotion onto the page to create something grown up and meaningful, the child in me always turns it into a rhyming limerick so this challenge is perfect. The challenge for me will be to keep it clean and not sully my reputation.

The prompt this week is ‘fall‘, the Autumnal meaning, not the comical tripping one. My interpretation of this is:

In America, Autumn’s called fall.
A difference in name that’s not small.
The beauty’s the same,
So’s the wind and the rain.
I don’t understand it at all.
